I tell stories.
What that means has expanded and shape-shifted since my years of hands-on video production. I started my career shooting and editing video content for brands such as Clif Bar, Urban Outfitters, PBS, Participant Media, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Museum of Contemporary Art (to name a few).
These days, I produce large media packages that comprise live events, podcasts, written articles, photography, graphics, and of course, video. Whether I’m crafting a single documentary video piece or building a multi-platform content strategy, telling stories means I’m asking the reader, viewer, or listener for their attention so that I can take them somewhere new, introduce them to colorful and complex characters, and hopefully show them something they haven’t seen before.
I am currently an Executive Producer at Verizon Media Group, home of brands like Engadget, TechCrunch, HuffPost, and Yahoo.
